Meet the Artists Behind SilverWolf Crafts

Crafting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey began in childhood, but it truly took shape when I was adopted, moved to Ohio, and discovered foam fighting. My mom suggested we sew outfits together—it was more affordable than buying them as I prepared for college—and this practical start became a passion. For years, I created my own outfits and helped others craft theirs, building a deep love for creativity and community.

Through foam fighting, I found the Kensmen, a group that introduced me to embroidery, illumination, and leather crafting. These new skills enriched my creative journey and laid the groundwork for what would later become SilverWolf Crafts.

When I met my husband, my path led me to Virginia. Soon after, I became a mom and realized I wanted to be present for my son’s early years. With my husband’s full support, I turned my crafting skills and hobbies into a business, driven by a passion for creating and helping others.

During the pandemic, I dedicated myself to making over 2,000 masks—some embroidered, many donated to the community. This period also sparked my interest in copper wire crafting, allowing me to refine my skills and create durable, beautiful works of art, even with toddlers and pets around!

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to have the support of friends, family, and, most importantly, my husband, James Dinsmore. Together, we’ve built SilverWolf Crafts into a family-centered endeavor.

Today, I personally craft wire, bone, gemstone creations, and commissioned hand embroidery, as well as machine-sewn flags and children’s garb. James and I collaborate on digitizing and leatherwork, while Victoria Childress contributes her expertise in chainmail. Each piece we create reflects our love of nature, craftsmanship, and community.
